In this course, you will learn how to effectively control and customize Profile View and Section View Styles in Autodesk Civil 3D to create clear, organized, and professional engineering drawings. The course focuses on understanding how different style settings affect the appearance of profile and section views and how to modify these settings to meet the requirements of real engineering projects. You will explore how to adjust grids, axes, titles, labels, and bands, and understand how each component plays a role in organizing the information shown in profiles and cross sections. The course also explains how to control display settings, manage visibility of elements, and improve the overall readability of your drawings. In addition, you will learn practical techniques for customizing styles to match common engineering drawing standards used in road design and infrastructure projects. The lesson will also demonstrate how to create consistent visual outputs that help engineers, designers, and reviewers quickly understand the information presented in the drawings.Throughout the course, you will gain a deeper understanding of how style management in Profile Views and Section Views can significantly improve the quality of your design documentation. You will also discover how proper style control helps save time when preparing drawings for plotting and reduces the need for repeated manual adjustments.By the end of this course, you will be able to confidently edit, manage, and apply styles to produce professional profiles and cross sections that are ready for plotting, documentation, and presentation in real-world civil engineering projects.

Learn Data science & Business Analytics-Real life case study
Let me tell you the foundation of Data Science. Its Statistics. If Data is the new oil of the 21st century, then Statistics is the engine which drives the Vehicle of Data Science. And guess who is the driver, well it's the person who knows statistical concepts and one who can apply these concepts in solving real life problems. Well that is what the future of Data science is going to be.I regularly guide my students to pursue industry relevant skills in data science. And the core skill which is in demand across every profession be it Business, Finance, Engineering, Social Science, Psychology : Statistics. Now knowing only the concepts of statistics would not serve much in the highly competitive industry. Thus I have designed this course integrating Theory with practical real life examples. We are going to solve the real life problems through Microsoft Excel, Validate the results through Excel, Draw the charts graphs beside the core analytics component of the course. And for the surprise you will get some glimpses of R programming in one of the lectures ( just to let you know that its not something to be feared )The course curriculum includes:Probability Distributions (Discrete Continuous)Sampling Theorem ( Sampling Distribution of sample Mean,Central Limit Theorem Sampling distribution of sample proportion)Confidence IntervalHypothesis TestingRegression Analysis (Simple Multiple Regressions)During the course we will be engaging in interactive discussions while understanding tough but important concepts of statistics. We will solve some real life examples in the process. And we will also be providing you with the lecture notes, Excel files for easy revision . To get the overview of my teaching methodology I recommend you to click on preview lecture and decide for yourself whether its worthwhile to do this

Moodle: From Novice Teacher to Expert Online Educator
This course is designed to guide you from a complete beginner level to being an expert Moodle teacher. I cover both the technical and the teaching aspects, helping you not only to create a course easily, but to create it effectively, engaging your students in the best possible way. If you’re teaching with Moodle and need a little help with any aspect of it, then this course is for you. This course was created using Moodle 2.7 - but even the newest version of Moodle hasn't changed much so it's still applicable. In this course we’ll start by looking at how Moodle works as a website, including how to most easily navigate around the system. This is, surprisingly, pretty difficult for many to get to grips with. Next, we’ll look at the structure of a Moodle course, including a section on busting much of the jargon that tends to confuse matters in the Moodle world. Finally, we’ll explore blocks and how they can be used to enhance a course, adding extra features to make yours and your students’ lives easier. Following introductions, we’ll get into the meat of the course, namely Resources and Activities. I’ll cover the full range of resources, including: Labels, and how they can be used to signpost a course Pages, and their main uses in Moodle Books and how they can guide students through material Files and URLs, and how both can add extra depth to a course Then, we’ll get into the most common activities in use on Moodle, particularly Assignments, Chats and Forums. These are the base elements of creating interactive learning on Moodle and can be used to enhance any online course. This course is a great introduction to teaching effectively in Moodle, but I’m certainly not finished yet. I’ll be expanding this course out to include every aspect of Moodle over the coming months, and I’d appreciate your help in doing so. By that, I just mean your suggestions on what to cover next! Hypothesis Testing Made Easy
What This Course Is AboutHypothesis Testing Made Easy is a practical, concept-focused course that helps you understand not just how to perform hypothesis testing — but why each step matters. You will learn how hypothesis testing works as a logical decision-making framework — one that helps us draw conclusions from data while managing uncertainty. And more importantly, you will learn how this framework applies far beyond textbooks.Hypothesis Testing in Everyday LifeFormulating a hypothesis and testing it is not just a statistical exercise — it is a way of thinking. It encourages critical thinking and helps us avoid jumping to conclusions without sufficient evidence.Understanding Errors in Decision-MakingIn both statistics and real life, decisions carry the risk of error.Hypothesis testing teaches us something powerful:While errors are unavoidable, some errors are more serious than others. In particular, we must be more cautious about concluding that something significant exists when it actually does not. This is the essence of Type I error.Consider the following examples:· Convicting an innocent person is worse than acquitting a guilty one.· Buying a product thinking it is high quality — when it isn’t — is worse than missing out on a good deal.· Trusting someone unreliable is riskier than missing a potentially good friendship.Hypothesis testing trains us to minimise such serious errors. It builds caution into decision-making.What You Will GainBy the end of this course, you will:Formulate hypotheses correctlyUnderstand the logic behind null and alternative hypothesesDistinguish between rejecting and retaining the null hypothesisInterpret results without common misconceptionsUnderstand Type I and Type II errors clearlyMost importantly, you will develop clarity
