Hard Surface 3d Vehicle Modeling in Maya for Games

عن هذا الكورس

In this course, instructor Stephen Wells walks us through the initial modeling stages of this hard surface tank vehicle inside of Maya. Here he extrudes and subdivides both polygon primitives and custom polygonal shapes as he builds out the forms and shapes for the individual parts of this sci-fi tank model. (Students - please look under Section 1 / Lecture 1 downloads for the source files associated with the lesson.) More about the Instructor: Stephen Wells is an expert 3D modeler for characters, props, vehicles, weapons and environments and have created both high and low polygon assets for game productions. He has over 20 years experience in creating a variety of game assets for several different genres (fantasy, sci-fi, combat, superheroes, horror, etc) using 3ds Max, Maya, Photoshop, ZBrush, Mudbox, Topogun, and XNormal. As an enthusiastic instructor, he loves creating video tutorials on a wide variety of subjects to help students better their skillsets.

Blender Still Life: Complete Course for Realistic Rendering

In this course, you’ll learn how to recreate a real photograph in 3D, analyzing proportions, materials, and lighting.Blender provides a complete workflow that guides you from modeling to final rendering, allowing you to control each stage with precision and creative freedom. We’ll start from a reference image and, through a clear and gradual process, model all the objects in the scene with attention to form, proportion, and detail. Each step is explained in a practical and direct way to help you understand not only the technical operations but also the logic behind scene composition and design choices. For modeling, we’ll use a method based on curves, a powerful and often overlooked technique that allows for exceptional precision and flexibility throughout the process.Once modeling is complete, we’ll move to the lighting and rendering phase: we’ll set up the camera, study the light balance, and create a photographic atmosphere that enhances realism. You’ll also learn how to work with UV Mapping, Texture Paint, Displacement, and Normal Maps to reproduce surfaces, reflections, and imperfections of the real world. The course concludes with the final render, where all elements come together in a coherent and visually convincing result. This course offers a clear and professional approach to managing a complete Blender project — perfect for anyone who wants to elevate their 3D visualization skills and achieve realistic, high-quality results.

The Complete Guide to the Fluid Simulation in Blender

Hello everyone and welcome to the Mantaflow Fluid Simulation Guide in Blender. In this course you will learn everything there is to know about the fluid simulation. In first section I will be showing you the very basics of the fluid simulation and how it works. After that we will be going through the domain and how every single setting and value effects the simulation. With the introduction of Mantaflow it completely changed how the fluid simulation operates. That is why In first section I will be showing you the basics and how it works. After that we will be going through the domain and learning how every single setting and value effects the simulation. Section 3 will be about all the different types of objects that can add to your simulation. Such as flow objects obstacles guides and much more. We will also be covering realistic water material and how to create that in Blender. The ocean modifier is also something that we will be taking a look at. One of the best ways to learn something is to follow along and create something yourself. That is why there are 3 full tutorials in this course. The first one is an obstacle course for fluid particles to go through. In this section we will learn about basic modeling, simulating particles with Mantaflow, creating a nice colorful material and rendering it out! The 2nd tutorial we will learn about the rigid body simulation and how you can use it to interact with the fluid simulation. The end result will be a cube falling with fluid inside it. And finally the last tutorial we will learn step by step on how to create a realistic waterfall using Mantaflow! In this section we will first model out the waterfall, create the simulation, add particles, create materials and render it out using Cycles! If you are wanting to learn step by step on how the Mantaflow fluid simulation works and how to create realistic fluid this course is for you!&nb

Oracle Database and ELK Stack – Data Visualization

To take advantage of the powerful search capabilities offered by Elasticsearch, many businesses will deploy Elasticsearch alongside existing relational databases. It will likely be necessary to keep Elasticsearch synchronized with the stored data in the associated relational database in such a scenario. (Source: Official Elastic Documentation)This course will see how we can visualize RDBMS data using elk stack, and we will use Kibana to create beautiful visualizations and dashboards. We are going to do everything from scratch. After completing this course, you’ll get an idea that ELK is not only used for logging purposes but can be used for visualizing RDBMS data. Additionally, I will use AWS RDS, GCP Compute Engine, AWS S3 in the course. I’m sure you’ll have fun learning these sessions."ELK" is the acronym for three open source projects: Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana. Elasticsearch is a search and analytics engine. Logstash is a server‑side data processing pipeline that ingests data from multiple sources simultaneously, transforms it, and then sends it to a "stash" like Elasticsearch. Kibana lets users visualize data with charts and graphs in Elasticsearch. The Elastic Stack is the next evolution of the ELK Stack. Oracle database products offer customers cost-optimized and high-performance versions of Oracle Database, the world's leading converged, multi-model database management system, as well as in-memory, NoSQL and MySQL databases.
