Crash Course: Machine Learning Pipeline and API using R

عن هذا الكورس

Hi, in this course you are going to get a quick introduction into the fascinating world of building predictive models in R using tidymodels. This course guides you through important packages of tidymodels to empower you to build an automatic regression pipeline, which you can use to tune a model for your own data set. I will introduce you to tidymodels and show you how you can build a simple API using plumber. We discover the important packages together. After each video in the first chapter you will solve short quizzes to deepen your knowledge. Step by step you will learn the important parts to build a regression pipeline. In the second chapter we will finally build the pipeline, which you can customize to your specific needs. We will make the pipeline available through plumber. This course is pretty dense in nature, but I believe that it is a very good starting point for you, since you will be able to build upon the material provided to you.I assume that you are familiar with R, tidyverse principles and the basics of machine learning. But even If you are a complete beginner, I think that this course can be valuable to you.I am looking forward seeing you in the course,Sincerely Moritz

AI-Ready Data Engineering: Pipelines for RAG & Agents

Everyone is building AI features. Almost no one is building the data systems that make them actually work. That gap is the data engineer's to own — and this course teaches you exactly how. Across 25 modules and 138 lessons you build the pipelines behind real AI: retrieval, RAG, agents, and governed text-to-SQL — not toy demos, but the incremental, evaluated, secured, cost-controlled systems that survive production. You follow one engineer, Maya, whose mandate is "make our data AI-ready," and you finish by shipping the capstone — AskTheData, an end-to-end AI data platform — yourself. What makes this course different: Data-engineering-first, not prompt-first. Embeddings, chunking, ingestion freshness, data contracts, vector stores, hybrid search — the substrate AI runs on, built properly. Code-first with a lab every module. Every module ships runnable code and a hands-on lab; over 40% of slides are real code or demos. Production war stories. Every hard idea lands with a story and an analogy, and real failure drills show you exactly how these systems break — and how to stop them. Governed text-to-SQL done right. Semantic layers on Snowflake Cortex Analyst and Databricks Genie, with an evaluation harness that proves accuracy instead of hoping for it. Agents fed safely. Context engineering, the Model Context Protocol (MCP), durable memory, and access-aware retrieval — the parts most "agent" courses skip. Evaluate, observe, cost-control. An eval + observability harness that gates every change, plus real cost benchmarks — the discipline that separates a demo from a platform. What you'll build, module by module: embeddings demystified, ingestion + freshness + data contracts for AI, document parsing of the messy real world, chunking strategies that

Spatial Database Mastery: PostgreSQL & PostGIS

Spatial data is everywhere—from maps and GPS systems to urban planning and environmental analysis. Managing and analyzing this data efficiently requires powerful spatial database tools. In this course, Spatial Database Mastery: PostgreSQL PostGIS, you will learn how to build and work with professional geospatial databases using PostgreSQL and PostGIS, the most widely used open-source spatial database technologies. This course is designed to provide a practical, hands-on understanding of how spatial databases work and how they are used in real-world GIS and geospatial development projects. You will start by learning how to install and configure PostgreSQL and PostGIS, then move on to creating spatial tables, importing geospatial data, and performing powerful spatial queries.Throughout the course, you will explore important spatial operations such as buffers, intersections, spatial joins, distance calculations, and spatial indexing. You will also learn how to optimize spatial queries and manage large geospatial datasets efficiently.By the end of this course, you will have the confidence to design, manage, and analyze geospatial data using PostgreSQL and PostGIS. Whether you are a GIS professional, developer, or data analyst, these skills will help you work with spatial data more effectively and open doors to advanced geospatial applications. After this course you will become master in Postgres PostGIS.

Claude AI for Data Analysis & Business Intelligence

Most data analysis courses teach you a tool. This one teaches you a workflow — the exact, repeatable process of turning a messy spreadsheet into decisions a CEO can act on, using Claude AI as your analyst.By the end, you won't just "know about AI." You'll have personally taken a real, public sales dataset of over 10,000 rows from raw download to a cleaned file, a KPI dashboard, and a one-page executive summary — without writing a single line of code. This is a do-it-alongside course, not a watch-and-forget course.Every lesson follows the same proven rhythm: you see the exact prompt to type, you watch Claude produce the real output, and you learn the business decision that output unlocks. You download the same dataset used in the lectures, so every number you produce matches what you see on screen. What makes this course differentThere are plenty of courses on ChatGPT for data, and plenty on Power BI. There are almost none that teach Claude AI specifically for business intelligence — even though Claude is exceptional at exactly this kind of work: reading files, cleaning data, building interactive dashboards, working inside Excel, and writing analysis a manager will actually read.Instead of toy examples, you'll work the full case study end to end on the famous "Sample Superstore" retail dataset (free and public). Along the way you'll uncover the kind of insights that change how a business operates:A pricing leak where discounts above 20% quietly destroy profitAn entire product line sold at a loss that category-level reports were hidingA seasonal pattern showing half the year's revenue lands in just four monthsYou'll learn to find these in any dataset — including your own company's.The 10-step workflow you'll masterGet and profile your data — spot duplicates, missing values, and trust problems before you analyze anything</
