ANSYS APDL Tutorials Part-I
This course is a tutorial made using ANSYS Workbench and ANSYS APDL. It takes you through various types of Beam Analysis using Static Structural Module of ANSYS Workbench and ANSYS APDL. Also numerical on Constant Strain Triangle (CST) elements has been added in this course. Numerical are solved to explain various concepts and features of the software and for practice so that expertise can be gained in handling the software.This course is the first part of the lecture series on ANSYS APDL software. It takes you through various topics like 3D and 1D beam analysis, Shear Force Diagram (SFD) and Bending Moment Diagram (BMD) of beams and CST element analysis. Various numerical are solved to explain the procedure to solve using software ANSYS. Basic of ANSYS Workbench and Beam Analysis using Finite Element Analysis are the requirement for understanding of this subject.We start with 3D Beam Analysis using ANSYS Workbench. Simply supported beam and Cantilever beam are analyzed for various types of loading.Further, we move to the 1D Beam Analysis for the same numerical as above.Third section deals with SFD and BMD analysis of Beams using ANSYS Workbench.Fourth section is all about the beam analysis using ANSYS APDL and fifth section is the SFD and BMD analysis using APDL.Lastly we study about CST element analysis for three and four nodded triangular elements.
