Learning CFD with ANSYS FLUENT (Workbench)
This course is intended for beginners in CFD. The course is ideal for anyone who want to learn how to use CFD using ANSYS FLUENT. First section includes the introductory lectures for Workbench, DesignModeler, and ANSYS Meshing. The next sections include the workshops. Each workshop is explained in detail followed by the geometry creation, meshing, setup and solution. Post processing is performed before concluding the workshop. The conclusion lecture is included for workshops where the results are compared with research articles or theory in different books of Fluid Mechanics.Throughout this course, we would be using ANSYS Workbench with FLUENT Analysis system. For CAD, we will use ANSYS DesignModeler. For Grid Generation, we will use ANSYS Meshing Tool. ANSYS FLUENT would be used to set up and solve the case model. CFD Post would be used for post processing of results. Microsoft Excel is used where required. The workbench files are provided for each workshop in wbpz format. The results generated are also provided in a compressed file for students to redo the workshops on their own and compare the results.ANSYS Components covered areWorkbenchDesignModelerMeshingFLEUNTCFD PostWhat Students will learnHow to create a geometry in DesignModelerHow to create an optimum mesh using Meshing toolSetting up the both steady state and transient problems in FLUENTGenerating presentable results in CFD PostAssignmentsStudents are encouraged to redo the problems solved in the workshops as an assignment. If any problems are faced during assignments, students are most welcome to ask questions.Additional Course detailsThe version used here throughout the course is ANS

Finite Element Welding Simulation with ESI SYSWELD (FEA/FEM)
Welcome to our comprehensive SYSWELD course, designed for students, mechanical engineers, and professionals in metallurgy and materials science. This course offers thorough training in Finite Element Analysis (FEA/FEM) specifically for welding simulations, providing practical, hands-on experience with a range of welding techniques. We start with a solid foundation in welding principles, including essential welding positions, key terminologies, and crucial welding zones. Understanding these fundamentals is crucial for anyone involved in welding, whether you're a student or a professional. The course then explores both conventional and advanced welding methods. You'll learn about traditional processes such as TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) and SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding), as well as advanced techniques like Laser Welding and Resistance Spot Welding (RSW). Each method is introduced with a detailed overview of its applications and significance.Following this, you'll delve into SYSWELD with an in-depth introduction to the software and its interface. Practical simulations begin with TIG welding, covering geometry setup, welding parameters, and result evaluation. The training continues with Manual Metal Arc Welding (MMAW), exploring both 2D and 3D simulations to enhance your understanding of welding simulations from basic to advanced levels.Additional modules focus on Resistance Spot Welding (RSW), where you’ll gain expertise in geometry setup, parameter adjustments, and result analysis. The course also addresses the analysis of residual stresses in welding, an essential aspect for materials science and strength of materials.By the end of this training, you will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to perform and interpret welding simulations using SYSWELD. Whether you're preparing for a career in engineering, metallurgy, or materials science, or seeking to enhance your current expertise, this course will significantly advance your capabilities and support your professional growt

Walmart Leadership Test Assessment Preparation Course
When applying for managerial positions at Walmart, you will be required to pass Walmart's leadership assessment. There are two separate Walmart management assessment tests:Walmart Supervisor Leadership Assessment Test (SLA)Walmart Tactical Leadership Assessment Test (TLA)Both assessments are computer-based and contain questions that are situational. The SLA is administered before the TLA exam. You can expect the TLA to be more difficult than the SLA, as the Walmart Tactical Leadership Assessment involves a higher level of management. If you pass both tests, you may find that your SLA result is deleted from your record since the Tactical Leadership Assessment carries greater value than the Walmart Supervisory Leadership Assessment Test.WHO TAKES THE SLA AND TLA?The Walmart pre-employment assessment is an online personality test combined with situational judgment questions. It measures your ability to handle different customer service scenarios as well as your general attitude at work. The test will take you between 20 and 60 minutes to complete.SCORINGThe Walmart leadership assessments are focused on the competitive attitude. You will encounter a pass/fail exam for both assessments. When you complete the test, your result will be termed "Competitive" for a successful exam, and "Non-Competitive" for an assessment that has not passed. Your managerial future at Walmart depends on the results of your Supervisor Leadership Assessment test and Tactical Leadership Assessment test. When answering questions presented in the TLA test and SLA test, apply the principles of competition and decisiveness. When in doubt as to any test item, adhere to current management loyalty.SITUATIONAL JUDGEMENT TESTSSituational Judgement Tests have gained increasing popularity in the past years. They measure an individual’s ability to decide on effective ways of
